NOTES ON FEE STRUCTURE TABLES

  • These fees do not apply to the Gemsbok National Park or the educational reserves in Gaborone, Francistown and Maun.
  • The phrase "Botswana Tour Operator" in terms of this Schedule means a tour operator with a valid tourism enterprise license under the Tourism Act allowing.
  • This fee is applicable to citizen and resident professional guides and staff members of Botswana Tour Operators on official duty only.
  • The fees include a 10% sales tax.
  • The composite fees include Park/Reserve and camping fees. The fee applies to each individual named on the permit and any support staff.
  • The onus be is on the owner of the vehicle to prove that his/her vehicle falls within a particular category. If no proof is provided, the fees of the more expensive category will apply.
  • The annual fee payable for the use of vehicles and aircraft will allow their use in all National Parks and Game Reserves.
  • Fees are not applicable for this category.
  • Fees include camping fees but not Park/Reserve fees.
  • Supply/utility vehicles are vehicles that are used for the supply of lodges and camps situated in national parks or game reserves, but not for the transport of persons unless they are staff of a tour operator.

*For any item marked with an asterisk persons between 8 to 18 years of age pay 50% of the fees listed and persons under 8 years of age are free of charge.

PLEASE NOTE: Payments made at the Park or Reserve Entrance gates may either be in PULA, SOUTH AFRICAN RANDS, US DOLLAR AND BRITISH POUNDS STERLING. Please note that only NOTES for foreign currency will be accepted, not coins.

OTHER NOTES:

  • These fees do not apply to the Gemsbok National Park or the Educational Reserves in Gaborone, Francistown and Maun. Separate fees are set for these Parks and Reserves.
  • The onus will be on the owner of the vehicle to prove that his/her vehicle falls within a particular category. If no proof is provided, the fees of the more expensive category will apply.
