Permits

Capturing and culling permits

  • Both permits may issued by the Director of Wildlife and National Parks on specific requests
  • Mostly for educational and scientific purposes, protection, utilization and conservation of wildlife
  • A Capture or cull permit is not transferable.

Permits issued by Licensing Officer;

A licensing officer may grant authorizing, elsewhere than in a National Park, Game reserve or Sanctuary for the following activities: - killing, capturing and driving of animals for the purpose of controlling of diseases or the killing or capturing of animals in the interest of public safety or for the protection of livestock, grazing, crops, water installations or fences.

Export Permit

The permit applies after completion of hunting, when the hunters take with them the trophies of the animals hunted. These permits attract fees (Appendix2).
